Parts diagram:
This parts diagram explains how this part fits into a 1978-1980 Puch moped pedal shaft.

Puch Moped Info:
Moped army provides basic technical info about the Puch Maxi moped, including the 1-speed Puch E50 engine.  The Puch Maxi moped was first built by the Steyr-Daimler-Puch company in 1969.  According to Wikipedia, 1.8 million Puch Maxi mopeds were produced.  Moped army has an extensive gallery of moped pictures.

Puch Moped Parts Compatibility:
According to the 1978-1980 Puch Parts Manual, Puch claims that this part will work in the these mopeds:
1978-1980 Puch Maxi moped (with a 1-speed Puch E50 engine).
1978-1980 Puch Maxi Luxe moped (with a 1-speed Puch E50 engine).
It might fit these and/or similar Puch mopeds built in other years but parts compatibility is not guaranteed and this part is sold "as is" with no refunds.  It probably does not fit a Puch Korado moped or a Puch Hero moped.

According to the 1978-1980 Puch Parts Manual, Puch claims that this part is not the correct part for these mopeds:
1978-1980 Puch Sport MKII moped ( with a 2-speed Puch ZA50 engine).
1978-1980 Newport II moped (with a 2-speed Puch ZA50 engine).
These 2 mopeds apparently use part 11a, a Puch moped shock absorber with a different design and appearance.
