Detailed Description
Specifications
Used headlight control part from a 1978 Puch Maxi Luxe moped with an odometer reading of 2,808.5 miles.  This is the complete front wiring harness that includes the inside wiring that fits into the 2 metal, not plastic handlebar control switches.
     This includes:
1. The complete front wiring harness.
2. 7 wires that need to be connected to the very small clear plastic electrical wiring connector terminal on your Puch moped and 2 longer brown wires that are connected to a bolt-on metal connector clip with a small round hole in it.  The 2 longer brown wires are probably the grounding wires.
3. An approx. 16" long thick black wiring sheath with 4+5=9 wires extending from the front end of the thick black wiring sheath (into 3 smaller black wire sheaths that go the front of the moped) and 9 rear connecting wires (the 7+2 wires described in point 2) at the rear end of the 16" long thick black wiring sheath.
4. 4 wires (including 2 from the 16" rear wiring sheath) extending to the horn and headlight.  There are 2 female wire clips for the horn with 2 wires each, 2 small wire sheaths that fits into a 1 5/8" diameter black rubber plug for the headlight bucket, 2 female clips with 2 wires each for the headlight, and 2 additional female clips with 2 wires each that fit outside of the headlight bucket with an unknown purpose.
5. 2 other longer than 19" black wiring sheaths that go to the left and right sides of the handlebars.  The front left side wiring sheath connects to the included left side light and horn electrical control switch (without the metal cover or small metal mounting assembly parts) and 2 small wires protected by a thin black rubber cap or cover connect to the electrical brake light sensor for the left side rear brake lever.
The front right side wiring sheath connects to the included right side engine on-off electrical control switch (without the metal cover or small metal mounting assembly parts) and 2 small wires protected by a thin black rubber cap or cover connect to the electrical brake light sensor for the right side front brake lever.

     It does not include:
1. The metal cover for or any metal mounting assembly parts for the left-side light and horn metal electrical control switch assembly (not a plastic switch assembly).
2. The metal cover for or any metal mounting assembly parts for the right-side engine on-off metal electrical control switch assembly (not a plastic switch assembly).
3. The left or right brake light electrical sensors.
4. The headlight or headlight bucket.
5. The horn.
6. The small white electrical connector or terminal part.
7. The rear wiring harness.
8. Anything else not specifically listed as included.

It is untested.  It is sold "as is", with no warranty, guarantee, or refunds.

Puch Moped Info:
Moped army provides
basic technical info about the Puch Maxi moped, including the 1-speed Puch E50 engine.  The Puch Maxi moped was first built by the Steyr-Daimler-Puch company in 1969.  According to Wikipedia, 1.8 million Puch Maxi mopeds were produced.  Moped army has an extensive gallery of moped pictures.

Puch Moped Parts Compatibility:
According to the 1978-1980 Puch Parts Manual, Puch claims that this part will work in the these mopeds:
1978-1980 Puch Maxi moped (with a 1-speed Puch E50 engine).

It might fit these and/or similar Puch mopeds built in other years but parts compatibility is not guaranteed and this part is sold "as is" with no refunds.  It probably does not fit a Puch Korado moped or a Puch Hero moped.

The other puch mopeds use a plastic lights and horn switch, parts 24 and 25, instead of the metal lights and horn switch, part 29, so they do not use this part for the metal horn and lights switch.
