Puch Moped PMEC03 1 speed E50 engine clutch engine sidecover. 349.5.10.335.1. (1 speed E50 crankcase part 3.)

Used 1 speed E50 engine crankcase part from a 1978 Puch Maxi Luxe moped with an odometer reading of 2,808.5 miles.  Does not include any other parts.  Does not include the clutch engine sidecover gasket (part 4), the oil filler plug (part 16), the oil filler plug seal washer (part 17), or any of the 4 M6 x 25 mounting bolts (part 18).  Flat interior surface that fits onto the clutch gasket and the engine crankcase is good but it has a thin film of residue, probably from clutch gasket residue, on it.  Has some grime on it and it may have some residual rust.  Sold "as is".

Puch Moped Info: Moped army provides basic technical info about the Puch Maxi moped, including the 1-speed Puch E50 engine.  The Puch Maxi moped was first built by the Steyr-Daimler-Puch company in 1969.  According to Wikipedia, 1.8 million Puch Maxi mopeds were produced.  Moped army has an extensive gallery of moped pictures.

Puch Moped Parts Compatibility: According to the 1978-1980 Puch Moped Parts Manual, Puch claims that this part will work in these 1 speed Puch E50 engine mopeds:
1978-1980 Puch Maxi moped (with a 1-speed Puch E50 engine).
1978-1980 Puch Maxi Luxe moped (with a 1-speed Puch E50 engine).
     It might fit these and/or similar Puch mopeds built in other years but parts compatibility is not guaranteed and this part is sold "as is" with no refunds.  It probably does not fit a Puch Korado moped or a Puch Hero moped.
     According to the 1978-1980 Puch Moped Parts Manual, Puch claims that this is not the correct part for these Puch 2 speed ZA50 engine mopeds:
1978-1980 Puch Sport MKII moped (with a 2-speed Puch ZA50 engine).
1978-1980 Newport II moped (with a 2-speed Puch ZA50 engine).
