Used 1 speed E50 engine or 2 speed ZA50 engine cylinder or piston part from a 1978 Puch Maxi Luxe 1.5HP moped with an odometer reading of 2,808.5 miles. The part is the Puch moped engine cylinder. It does not include the cylinder head or any gaskets. This part has a plain metal color.
This is probably part of part 349.3.10.005, a Puch moped cylinder for a 1.5HP or 2HP engine. I'm guessing this because 1) the moped it was from was labeled 1.5HP, not 1HP, and 2) it had a hi-torque cylinder cover head, par 22, not 4, initially connected to it. However, this is only the cylinder, not the cylinder head and not any gaskets. However, it might be part of part 349.3.10.205,0, and it might only be a 1.0 instead of of 1.5HP/2HP Puch moped engine cylinder. It is sold "as is", and it might be part of either part.
The interior cylinder hollow tube area for the piston looks good with only minor scratches and some areas with no scratches at all. This is consistent with a low to medium mileage of only 2,808.5 miles on the odometer. Has a few very light scratches on the flat surface that fits into the cylinder gasket and the main engine crankcase. I believe it should seal fine with a good cylinder gasket. It also has a few very light scratches on the thick flat surface where it fits into the cylinder cover/head gasket and the cylinder cover. I believe it should seal fine with a good cylinder head gasket. Probably works, but it is untested and sold "as is".

Puch Moped Info: Moped army provides basic technical info about the Puch Maxi moped, including the 1-speed Puch E50 engine. The Puch Maxi moped was first built by the Steyr-Daimler-Puch company in 1969. According to Wikipedia, 1.8 million Puch Maxi mopeds were produced. Moped army has an extensive gallery of moped pictures.
Puch Moped Parts Compatibility: According to the 1978-1980 Puch Moped Parts Manual, Puch claims that this part will work in the these mopeds:
1978-1980 Puch Maxi Luxe moped (with a 1-speed Puch E50 engine).
1978-1980 Puch Sport MKII moped (with a 2-speed Puch ZA50 engine).
1978-1980 Newport II moped (with a 2-speed Puch ZA50 engine).
It might fit these and/or similar Puch mopeds built in other years but parts compatibility is not guaranteed and this part is sold "as is" with no refunds. It probably does not fit a Puch Korado moped or a Puch Hero moped.
According to the 1978-1980 Puch Moped Parts Manual, Puch claims that this not the correct part for a (presumably 1HP) 1 speed E50 engine moped:
1978-1980 Puch Maxi moped (with a 1-speed Puch E50 engine).
If you Puch moped is 1.5HP or 2HP, this part will probably fit it. If your current cylinder cover has 3 round spots (that are tops of cylinders in 3 of the 8 fins) on each side, this part will probably fit your Puch moped engine. However, product compatibility is not guaranteed, and this part is sold "as is".
