Used 1 speed E50 engine gearbox part from a 1978 Puch Maxi Luxe moped with an odometer reading of 2,808.5 miles. Includes the main drive gear with 106 gear teeth and a 17mm main driveshaft (part 9, without the clutch drum or clutch bushing), 2 main driveshaft ball bearings (40mm outer diameter x 17mm inner diameter x 12mm wide, bearing 6203), 2 of part 6, circlip part 7 (Sg 17x1 DIN 471), retaining ring part 5 (SP 40 DIN 5417), and purple engine seal part 4 (labeled "A 17 - 40 - 7 NB", "10", "SIKU", and some design inside a small circle). Sold "as is".
TIf you are repairing or rebuilding your engine, I'd recommend getting a new set of engine seals. The engine seal for the main driveshaft has some rust of the interior side of it (that is facing towards the exterior of the engine). You should also consider getting new ball bearings.
Sold "as is".

Puch Moped Info: Moped army provides basic technical info about the Puch Maxi moped, including the 1-speed Puch E50 engine. The Puch Maxi moped was first built by the Steyr-Daimler-Puch company in 1969. According to Wikipedia, 1.8 million Puch Maxi mopeds were produced. Moped army has an extensive gallery of moped pictures.
Puch Moped Parts Compatibility: According to the 1978-1980 Puch Moped Parts Manual, Puch claims that this 16-tooth main drive sprocket will work in the these Puch E50 1-speed mopeds (that have main drive sprockets with 11, 13, 14, 15, or 16 teeth):
1978-1980 Puch Maxi moped (with a 1-speed Puch E50 engine).
1978-1980 Puch Maxi Luxe moped (with a 1-speed Puch E50 engine).
It might fit these and/or similar Puch mopeds built in other years but parts compatibility is not guaranteed and this part is sold "as is" with no refunds. It probably does not fit a Puch Korado moped or a Puch Hero moped.
According to the 1978-1980 Puch Moped Parts Manual, Puch claims that this not the correct part for these Puch ZA50 2-speed engine mopeds:
1978-1980 Puch Sport MKII moped (with a 2-speed Puch ZA50 engine).
1978-1980 Newport II moped (with a 2-speed Puch ZA50 engine).
These Puch ZA50 2-speed engines use an 18-tooth main drive sprocket instead.
