Detailed Description
Specifications

Puch Korado Moped E50 Engine Main Driveshaft Assembly with Main Drive Gear, Ball Bearing, Oil Seal, 2 Large Circlips and 2 Small Circlips to hold the ball bearing in place. Does not include the external main chain drive gear and the small circlip to hold the main chain drive gear in place.

I've parted out a probably 1990's Puch Korado moped engine, probably a pedal start engine with a CDI ignition. The engine is imprinted with the labels "E50", "P2A 1M", and "CM 49".

Product description:
Puch Korado Moped E50 Engine Main Driveshaft Assembly with Main Drive Gear, Ball Bearing, Oil Seal, 2 Large Circlips and 2 Small Circlips to hold the ball bearing in place. Does not include the external main chain drive gear and the small circlip to hold the main chain drive gear in place. The oil seal is imprinted with the labels "17 40 7" , "Rolf", and "Rolf".

Product Installation: This main driveshaft assembly is much easier to install into the crankcase then most moped main drive assemblies because the Puch Korado crankcase splits into top and bottom halves, not right and left halves. This means that the Puch Korado crankcase can relatively easily be opened up without even removing parts from the crankshaft and then this replacement main drive assembly can easily slide in between the top and bottom halves of the crankcase. If the crankcase splits right to left instead of top of bottom, you would need to use a crankcase splitter to split the right and left halves of the crankcase open and then possibly also need to pound a crankshaft ball bearing out of one or both engine halves and then pound both replacement crankshaft ball bearings into the reassembled crankcase halves.

Product Condition: Good used working condition, but the usable (and replaceable) worn ball bearing spins a little rough and loud. The main drive gear is in excellent condition. However, the usable and replaceable ball bearing (held in place by 2 small circlips) spins a little rough and loud. While it can still be used, it should ideally be replaced. There is a little rust on the main driveshaft that fits on the outside of the crankcase. There is also some rust on the spring inside of the oil seal. The oil seal has 2 very small bumps on the round outside of it from where it was squeezed a little between the top and bottom engine halves. This drive shaft assembly is presumed working, but it is technically sold "as is".
