Sachs Wheel King Moped 1970s Speedometer Drive. Hard to find unique/nonstandard replacement speedometer drive. Nonstandard size and design. Does not include Sachs Wheel King Moped speedometer or speedometer cable, both sold separately. This 1970's nonstandard Wheel King Sachs speedometer drive has an approx. 5.5mm hole for the end of the speedometer cable to fit into and it needs a special speedometer cable end that has a nonstandard 8mm long hole/slit in the middle of an approx. 5mm in diameter 15mm long cylinder that fits into the speedometer drive. It will not work with the standard square speedometer cable with a square end. It fits on a M12 axle.

I've parted out a 1970s Wheel King moped with a Sachs engine and the Sachs Wheel King moped parts are for sale at EdsSurplus eBay store. The brand name is Wheel King, and it was manufactured by Wheel King in Taiwan in the 1970s with a Sachs engine, carb, intake valve, airbox, air filter, and exhaust pipe.

Sachs moped parts compatibility: This part is designed to work with Wheel King Sachs moped parts. It might/might not fit or work with other Sachs mopeds manufactured by a different company other than Wheel King. It is designed to work with the Sachs Wheel King moped speedometer cable and the Sachs Wheel King moped speedometer, both sold separately. This 1970's nonstandard Wheel King Sachs speedometer drive has an approx. 5.5mm hole for the end of the speedometer cable to fit into and it needs a special speedometer cable end that has a nonstandard 8mm long hole/slit in the middle of an approx. 5mm in diameter 15mm long cylinder that fits into the speedometer drive. It will not work with the standard square speedometer cable with a square end. It fits on a M12 axle. The 2 parts in the speedometer driver that hook into the wheel are approx. 30mm apart, and the entire speedometer assembly is approx. 47mm in diameter where it fits in place next to the wheel. It is sold "as is", and product compatibility is not guaranteed.
My educated guess is that there might be a number of 1970s or even 1980 Sachs or other mopeds that might need this particular nonstandard replacement speedometer drive. It is probably a hard to find unique replacement part.

Product Condition: Hand-testing shows the speedometer drive works. Looks old and cruddy but should work fine if its compatible with your moped wheel and speedometer cable. There is a little rust on the inside and their might be a little rust on the outside. Sold "as is".
