Sachs Wheel King Tail Light Assembly and Tail Light Mounting Assembly.

I've parted out a 1970s Wheel King moped with a Sachs engine and the Sachs Wheel King moped parts are for sale at EdsSurplus eBay store. The brand name is Wheel King, and it was manufactured by Wheel King in Taiwan in the 1970s with a Sachs engine, carb, intake valve, airbox, air filter, and exhaust pipe.

Product description: Sachs Wheel King Tail Light Assembly and Tail Light Mounting Assembly. Includes a special presumably 6 volt light bulb with 2 filaments. FYI, when installed, the round part of the tail light is usually at the bottom.

Sachs moped parts compatibility: The tail light assembly is probably a generic 1970's Sachs moped tail light and it might even be a generic 1970's tail light. The tail light mounting assembly is probably specific to the Wheel King moped.
The tail light assembly has 2 very small phillips screws that fit into it approx 36mm apart from center of screw to center of screw. It also has a brown wire and a green wire that both have very small male clip connectors. This part is probably very compatible and interchangeable. Please check your Sachs or other moped first to verify that it will fit.
The tail light mounting assembly is a derusted metal piece with a lot of old rust residue that is probably specific to the Wheel King moped, but might fit on other mopeds also. It includes 2 tail light mounting bolt holes, 35mm apart from center to center, and 2 rusted but at least barely functional very small nuts and bolts that are approx. 30mm apart from center to center. I recommend replacing these 2 small nuts and bolts if you use the tail light mounting assembly.

Product Condition: Tail light assembly and light bulb look OK. Testing with 2 AA batteries connected to the ends of the 2 wires produced a little light in one of the 2 tail light bulb filaments at only 2900mAh at only 3 volts. Tail light mounting assembly is covered with solid rust residue and is functional. If you use the tail light mounting assembly, I would replace the 2 nuts and bolts that attach it to the moped fender, since they were once solidly rusted and, while they work at the moment, they should probably be replaced.
The tail light assembly "CAT-EYE RR-272" tail light cover and tail light interior and tail light bulb are all in good shape. However the narrow metal strip around the back of the side and the side of the back of it has some old rust residue. Its is briefly tested, and it is sold "as is".
