Tomos Moped A3 Engine #1 Right Side Engine Transmission Cover with pedal shaft hole for a Tomos A3 pedal moped. Includes oil drain plug bolt but not the 2 other engine oil bolts.

I've parted out Tomos A3 pre-1992 engine #1 and the Tomos A3 engine parts are for sale at EdsSurplus eBay store. Tomos A3 engine #1 had a damaged transmission, with a broken 1st gear clutch. The previous owner claimed it started and ran, but the transmission was broken.

Product description: Tomos Moped A3 Engine #1 Right Side Engine Transmission Cover with pedal shaft hole for a Tomos A3 pedal moped. Includes oil drain plug bolt but not the 2 other engine oil bolts.

Product Condition: Good used condition. Crankshaft wheel bearing spins smoothly, while the countershaft wear bearing is a little rough. Oil bolt threads look OK. Sold "as is".

Product installation: Product installation will require a allen or hex wrench if your transmission cover is bolted into place using allen or hex bolts. Product installation is often relatively easy, with 2 potential problems: 1) If you have a right side pedal already installed, you might accidentally break and need to replace the right crank arm cotter pin when you remove it. 2) When you remove the right side transmission cover that you're replacing, try to save a functional 100% untorn transmission cover gasket and/or buy a replacement transmission cover gasket. You need a 100% solid seal with a transmission cover gasket or else the oil in your engine may leak from the broken engine seal.
