Tomos Moped A3 Engine #2 TMA3ECCP01-E2 Cylinder Block. Includes crankcase, crankshaft, driveshaft, and main drive chain drive sprocket. Probably needs new crankshaft ball bearings.
Used Tomos A3 pre-1992 probably 1987 moped engine parts. OK used condition. An installed but damaged cylinder gasket protects the surface that seals tight against a replacement cylinder gasket (but removing this gasket carefully will take some careful work). Crankshaft woodruff key pin hole looks good. Crankshaft threads look good. Crankshaft is very noisy when it rotates (and it has some rust). This is probably caused by old worn ball bearings. The ball bearings should be replaced. The driveshaft has a very small starter gear on its interior side, and this starter gear only has light wear and tear on it (since the flat edge on the ground down gear is only around 1mm wide.) My appraisal: everything seems OK except for the grinding noise that the crankshaft makes, and this is probably from replaceable old worn-out main crankshaft ball bearings that should be replaced. Also, it was difficult to remove a heavily torqued main chain drive sprocket, so I left it installed. Sold "as is".

Used Tomos A3 pre-1992 probably 1987 moped engine part. Interior cylinder has light scratches only. Probably works, but this is not guaranteed. Front part that connects to the cylinder head or cylinder cover is rusted. Sealing surface for the manifold/engine intake valve is partially rusted and includes 2 mounting bolts studs. Sealing surface for the exhaust gasket has many light thin scratches in it, but it should probably work well enough. Around half of the exterior fins have a lot of rust on them. 2 cooling fins are chipped. Flat sealing surface that seals onto a gasket that seals onto the crankcase looks good, but a little of the cylinder gasket is stuck to the metal. Sold "as is".

Used Tomos A3 pre-1992 probably 1987 moped engine part. Interior sealing surface that seals onto the cylinder looks good, but it has grime and/or brown areas on it. The brown areas might be rust. Spark plug bolt threads look good. Interior combustion chamber surface looks good, without carbon buildup. Outside is predictably dirty and the paint has been not applied or removed from the thick exterior end parts of all 18 cooling fins. Sold "as is".
